Abstract

Our services

The Mobile Robotics Development Team (EDROM) is made up of students from the Federal University of Uberlândia and guided by a tutor, Professor Rogério Sales Gonçalves. The team develops autonomous robots based on the technical specifications of the competitions it participates in, mainly humanoid robots for the Humanoid Soccer League.

Formed in 2008, EDROM has contributed to the training of countless members both at an academic and professional level. Participation in the projects developed by the team makes it possible to study real engineering problems, work as a team and develop an entrepreneurial spirit, contributing to a more complete education of the student.

Over the years, the work carried out by EDROM members allowed the team to win more than 25 awards in national and international robotics events.

Our Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is responsible for the administration of EDROM. It has the primary function of managing the Team's assets, in order to ensure the University's full development in line with the objectives set out in our internal booklet.

Construction of humanoid robots aimed at humanoid soccer league competitions

This category consists of a competition of autonomous robots with characteristics that resemble humans and is divided into five major areas of activity: structure, movement, vision, electrical and behavior, with the objective of performing a soccer match based on the conventional rules of the sport.

Promotion and participation in educational events

We occasionally offer classes and lectures on the most diverse subjects touching on the team's activities. Some examples are the short courses promoted by the team, open to all, and also challenges for freshmen at the University.
